Just how many millions Birdman owe to his artists and producers. Rick Ross is claiming that the Cash Money owes DJ Khaled millions of dollars.
Rozay raps about his issues with Birdman on his Rather You Than Me single “Idols Become Rivals.” In one of the lines on the single Rick Ross raps about Birdman screwing with DJ Khaled’s money and now owes him a lot in a bitter fallout. “The situation that he was in with Birdman most definitely didn’t pan out the way he assumed it would,” Rozay said during an interview with Wendy Williams. “My homie he is still owed a couple dollars and Birdman should straighten that.”
Rick Ross also let it be clear that he has no current relationship with Birdman and he was someone he looked up to coming up in the rap game. Back in 2015, DJ Khaled announced in an interview that he is not signed to Cash Money anymore but didn’t give any details on why he decided to cut ties with the label. He did say though that there is no bad blood between himself and Birdman.
Rick Ross released his album Rather You Than Me on Thursday night and it’s already making waves, specifically for the two people he dissed: Nicki Minaj and Birdman.
On the opening track, “Apple of My Eye,” Ross raps, “I told Meek I wouldn’t trust Nicki/Instead of beefing with your dog you just give him some distance,” referencing the break up of Minaj and Meek Mill.
A week ago, Meek Mill referenced the lyrics in an Instagram post by captioning a photo of him and Ross with, “Rozay been told me don’t trust you.”
